By accessing or using the M50 Toll Tracker mobile application ("App") and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
M50 Toll Tracker is a mobile application designed to help users track when they pass the M50 toll gantry in Ireland and receive reminders to pay toll charges. The Service uses geofencing technology to detect when you pass the specific M50 toll gantry location.
Important: The App uses location services ONLY to detect when you pass the M50 toll gantry. We do NOT track your journeys, movements, or location at any other time. The App uses a two-stage geofencing system: an outer approach zone (2km radius) activates precise location tracking, and an inner toll zone (1km radius) triggers toll event creation.

The app is free to download with two free toll detections. After that, you may purchase a one-time lifetime license (€5.99) to unlock unlimited toll tracking and reminders.
iOS: Payment is processed by Apple. Apple's payment terms and App Store terms apply. Refund requests for in-app purchases must be made through Apple.
Other platforms: Payment may be processed by Stripe or other payment providers. There is no recurring subscription; the lifetime license is a single one-time payment.

DO NOT use this App while driving. The App operates automatically in the background using geofencing technology. You should never interact with your phone, open the App, or check notifications while operating a vehicle.
Using a mobile phone while driving is illegal in Ireland and many other jurisdictions, and poses serious safety risks. Always keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

You acknowledge that geofencing technology relies on GPS accuracy, which may be affected by various factors including device capabilities, weather conditions, signal strength, battery optimisation settings, operating system restrictions, and other technical factors beyond our control.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and applicable EU law, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
If you are a consumer resident in Ireland or the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under Irish or EU law.
